Indianapolis House Fire, Two Firefighters Injured, One of Three Simultaneous Incidents 9/13-9/14/25

A fire broke out in a vacant duplex in Indianapolis late Saturday night. Firefighters were dispatched shortly before midnight. The fire destroyed the original structure and extended to the B exposure causing damage. Two firefighters suffered minor injuries and were both transported to an area hospital.

This fire was the second of three simultaneous working fires. The first fire was a porch fire dispatched 10 minutes prior and was in close proximity. The fire was upgraded to working but was quickly handled and some of the crews then went to the second fire. A third working fire was in a garage with two cars on fire and was dispatched shortly after the second one. A fourth fire was dispatched while these were working, but was determined to be the same as the garage fire.
