The Kings Park Fire Department responded to a fire at a commercial mulch and recycling plant at 140 Old Northport Road in Kings Park on Sunday June 26, 2022, at 7:00 PM. A large fire broke out and took over an hour to extinguish. Old Northport Road was closed from Townline Road to Old Commack Road for over two hours.
