Just some clarification, does this mean L-112 relocated to the quarters of L-108 or did they use L-112 to fill out an assignment that was L-108

it means L-112 is covering L-108's district because L-108 is operating for and extended period of time at a box.

Whenever a company is "acting" another company it means 1 of 2 things:
1) If the companies do not run 1st and 2nd due together, most likely the acting unit is out of their own response area, and in the response area of the unit they are covering.  They may be operating out of the firehouse of the company they're covering.
2) If the companies do run 1st and 2nd due together, chances are they are in the response area of the unit they're covering, but they're also covering their own first due area.  This usually only happens when a unit is unavailable for a short time (e.g. when E34 covers E54).

In the case of 108 and 112, since they do not normally run first and second due together, most likely it means 112 is not in their own response area, but rather in 108's district.
