Incident Location: 4 Boyd Street
At 8:48 am this morning the Long Beach Fire Department received a report of a House Fire on Boyd Street, upon arrival units found a exterior fire in the rear of the house extending into the house. Two hose lines were placed into operation by Engine 2343 and Engine 2344, one to the rear yard and the other into the house.
The crews from Ladders 2362 and 2372 opened up the walls both exterior and interior to help extinguish the fire and check for extension. There were no injuries and the fire was investigated by the Nassau County Fire Marshals Office and deemed not suspicious. All operations were under the Command of Chief Hadrick Ray and Assistant Chiefs Marino and Reinhard (Text Credit: LBFD).
