Incident Location: 835 East Walnut Street
At 2:04pm the Long Beach Fire Department received an Automatic Fire Alarm on the 800 block E. Walnut St. Engine 2343 and 2344 were on the scene within 4 minutes, Lt. Jones of Engine 2343 transmitted smoke showing, shortly there after Ex-Chief Kemins transmitted the Working Fire.
Fire was found in the wall from the first floor to the attic, due to the Stucco and plaster construction of the house these walls needed to be opened from both the interior and the exterior by the Truck Companies to reach the fire. 2 Hose lines were deployed into the house by the Engine Companies. The Fire was brought under control in about 45 minutes, there were no injuries of any Firefighters or Civilians (Text Credit: LBFD).
