In the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 20th, the Long Beach Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on West Park Ave. Firefighters put four hand lines into operation for heavy fire on all floors of a lifted two-story private dwelling with extension to the exterior of exposure three. The home was unoccupied and under construction at the time of the fire. There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
