A single engine plane crashed in rural Madison County, IN, which is between Indianapolis and Muncie. When emergency crews arrived on scene the plane was found crashed into a tree and was on fire. The fire was quickly extinguished. Bystanders removed the pilot from the plane and began performing CPR but the pilot was pronounced deceased at the scene.
