Malverne NY (Nassau) Working Fire 4/28/25

On the afternoon of Monday, April 28th, 2025, the Malverne Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Wright Avenue off Ocean Avenue. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put at least one hand line into operation for a fire in the attic of a two-story private dwelling. The fire was quickly extinguished before it could extend further, and its cause is under investigation. All occupants made it out of the home safely and there were no reported injuries.
