Marine Incident Brooklyn Box ???? 6/9/22

Yesterday, FDNY Marine 3 responded to a report of people in the water after their kayak had overturned in Brooklyn. Firefighters aboard Marine 3 responded and located an individual clinging to the side of their kayak. The members were able to skillfully position the boat alongside the kayak and bring the individual onboard Marine 3. A civilian boater notified the FDNY that they had a civilian whose kayak had also overturned on board and transferred them to Marine 3. In total five people were transported to shore and declined medical care.
