the Mariners inn may not have been a FDNY facility but it was part of our history, sorry to report it has closed.
Pudgy Walsh, RIP, made this the unofficial headquarters of the FDNY football team and great place to stop for a drink and some good conversation. Bu nothing last forever, I’m sure everyone who frequented the Mariners has some great stories snd memories of Pudgy and the crew since that’s the only thing that last and grows.
