The Massapequa Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Osprey Place off Waterview Avenue on the night of Thursday, September 7th, 2023. Firefighters put at least three hand lines into operation for heavy fire on the first and second floors of a two-story private dwelling. All searches throughout the home were negative and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Massapequa Chief of Department Monjardo [6300] had command of the incident.
