MONSEY NY (ROCKLAND) STRUCTURE FIRE 7/18/22​

This morning LT. Moshe Messner alerted 44-Control to a structure fire across the street from the firehouse. 7-Tanker responded immediately and relayed a signal 12 (confirmed structure fire). The fire was located on the second floor and in the attic. Crews made quick work and extinguished the fire in a short period of time. Our exterior crews did incredible work and laddered the building immediately and established a positive water source . Thank you to all our mutual aid departments, EMS and Ramapo PD who responded to assist.

Columbian Engine Co. #1​

Yesterday was anything but a boring Monday for the Columbian Fire Engine Company #1 as our members were dispatched to over 15 calls for service.

In the morning our 17-1750 and crew assisted the Monsey Fire Dept at a structural fire across the street from their quarters.

As the day went on inclement weather ravaged the area and our members were dispatched to a variety of calls including:
Automatic Alarms
Vehicle Fire
Flooding Condition
Smoke In The Building

In the evening after continuously traveling from call to call our members then once again traveled to Monsey, this time to undergo Standpipe & High Rise Operations training with Department 7.
