Multiple Alarm Fires

Considering the seventh alarm fire the other night, I looked to see how many multiple alarms, three or more,  occur during a year.

Ex Chief 84 has a listing for 2009, February through December.

Here is a summary:

Highest alarm reported  a sixth alarm 4.12.09  Box 2693  Great Kills Staten Island

Five  Alarms:  Two. Both in the Bronx

Four Alarms:  Five.  2 Queens, 2 Manhattan, 1 Bronx

Three Alarms:  Fourteen. 5 Queens, and three each in Manhattan, Bronx and Brooklyn

The city has had a large amount of multiples this year already. It's going to be a busy year.
