Description: Fire in (4) MD's

2200hrs- E-5 on location with fire in the rear with extension to an exposure. B/C ordering 2nd Alarm.

2205hrs- 3rd Alarm. Heavy fire top floor with extension to (2) exposures in the rear.

2222hrs- All co's being removed from original fire building and exposure Bravo. Fire involves (2) 2.5 frame dwellings and a 3-frame MD.

2225hrs- Collapse zone being established and going to exterior op's.

2230hrs- 4th Alarm


 
A 4th Alarm should bring just about the entire NFD, save an Engine and two Ladders. I believe Engine 16 would normally be second due here if they weren't "browned out".

21:59hrs. - Engine 5 o/s transmitting the 2nd Alarm for Box 5243 for fire in the rear w/extension to an exposure.

22:02hrs. - Battalion 5 transmitting the Signal 11(Working Fire) for Box 5243 for fire in a 3.5-story wood-frame w/extension to exposures on the "B" and "D" sides. Battalion 5 reporting fire on the top floor.

22:03hrs. - Battalion 5 transmitting the 3rd Alarm for Box 5243.

22:04hrs. - Battalion 5 reporting main fire building is 295 Lafayette St.

22:06hrs. - Deputy 1 o/s reporting fire in (2) 2-story wood-frame OMDs and (1) 2.5-story wood-frame OMD. A/H/W. Deputy 1 reporting heavy fire on the 3rd floor.
