North Bellmore NY (Nassau) Working Fire 7/28/23

In the early morning hours of Friday, July 28th, the North Bellmore Fire Dept. operated on the scene of a working fire at Gunther Field – located at the intersection of Bellmore Ave. and Logue St. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation for fire in a two-story little league building. North Merrick was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 673. Bellmore was on scene with Ladder 606 and operated as an additional truck company. The cause of the fire is under investigation and all fire department units were under the command of North Bellmore Chief of Dept. Zaharis [6500]. Text courtesy K2m Photography.
