Thank you Keith, aka "EMSR2" for the GREAT JOB you do for us covering many cities and towns in the Connecticut area

This large vacant mill has been the scene of several working and multiple alarm fires recently.
The first multiple alarm fire goes way back to April, 2010 in which six people were arrested and convicted of arson.

Another multiple alarm fire occurred there less than 2 months ago on May 25th '22.
The news paper article that you posted (www.theday.com) mentions that

Besides the Norwich Fire Dept - Four Local Volunteer Fire Depts also responded, along with the career Mohegan Tribal Fire Dept as the Fast Company to yesterdays fire.

Mohegan Tribal Fire Department provides mutual aid and responds as RIT to many neighboring departments.

Another multiple alarm fire at the same mill complex this morning around 5:00 am

As I am told, this mornings fire (Saturday July 9th) was in a completely separate building within this large mill complex, with fires burning in a couple of different areas.

Of course Norwich Fire Marshall's are investigating, along with the Conn State Police Fire Marshall's Division, and the Norwich Police Arson unit, which employees NPD Officers trained in arson investigation on an "as needed basis".
