NYPD/FDNY realtions

Hello,
what would all say the relationship is between the NYPD and FDNY? I have a feeling that NYPD and FDNY hating each other is greatly extracted, especially in this day and age? Finally how would all say that the defund/disband the police movement has affect this? Thanks

This web site has a very good relationship between the members of the FDNY and the NYPD.
In fact there are members of the NYPD who visit this site often.
Of course both the NYPD, and the FDNY, risk their lives daily for the millions of NYC residents and visitors to the city.
Therefore, we try to avoid any conflict here between The FDNYs BRAVEST and The NYPDs FINEST on this site
