Oceanside NY (Nassau) 3d Alarm 10/18/25

Late on the afternoon of Saturday, October 18th, 2025, the Oceanside Fire Department was called to a report of a building fire on Long Beach Road off West Waukena Avenue. Responding units were advised that multiple calls were being received reporting the fire and upon arrival firefighters were met with heavy fire showing one from a one-story taxpayer. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid requested. The fire went on to reach a multiple alarm equivalency with several hand lines and master streams placed into operation. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. (K2M Photography text)
