Walk-Around of the Oldest FDNY Tower Ladder still in the fleet. 2001/1999 Seagrave 95' Tower Ladder Ex Ladder 9. Responded to the World Trade Center on 9/11/01 which was severely damaged but was repaired and placed back into service a few short months later. Also did an Emergency Light demo walkaround! Only 2 95' Tower Ladders from the Early 00s remain in FDNY's Fleet. This is the only one still in the spare fleet, the other is at the Rock.

If the shops ran out of spares, I’m sure they can pull rigs from the rock.
Well yeah but not a tiller. There is about 30-40 spare engines maybe alittle more since the change over with new rig.
25 Spare Sticks
3 Spare Tillers
20-25 Spare Towers
1 spare 95 footer
3 Spare Squads

Just seen this on Instagram

Oldest Tiller is being used by L5 according to this

The Spare Currently Used by Ladder 5 (Ex Ladder 104) SL02007T is the "Oldest Tiller Spare" in the fleet. The one at the rock at the moment is strictly there and not in the spare pool unless for emergency use. Then again, if they ran out of tillers in the spare pool they could use Rear-Mount spares, as seen in the past when there were no Spare Tower Ladders available.
