North Haven Firefighter John Bysko Jr of Old Lyme, Ct passed away suddenly on August 31, '25 at 47 years old.
He became a junior member of the Old Lyme Fire Department when he was 15 years old, a senior member in 1997, as well as becoming an emergency medical technician when he was 17.
He served as a career firefighter in the North Haven Fire Department for 14 years graduating from the Connecticut Fire Academy in 2011 - Class # 48
He also volunteered and worked the Old Lyme Ambulance for over 20 years.
He became a paramedic and worked at the Shoreline Clinic in Westbrook, as well as AMR Ambulance Service in New Haven.
