Incident Location: 50 Hillview Avenue
Late on the morning of Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, the Port Washington Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Hillview Avenue off Mallon Place. Roslyn Highlands was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Rescue Engine 591. Firefighters put one hand line into operation for a fire in the first-floor kitchen of a two and a half story peaked roof private dwelling. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Port Washington Chief of Department Matt Kerin [8500] had command of the incident.
