I checked out a new book from our local library in Northern Indiana called Fighting Fire - Trucks, Tools, and Tactics by Larry Shapiro and found some of Matt's pics. The first was from 8-21-06. The caption was 22-3348 @2475 Southern Blvd - 12th floor fire in a residential hi-rise, the second was from 02-26-06. The caption stated 33-3553 @West Mosholu Parkway - Tracy Towers hi-rise fire. The last one was a 5th alarm in a taxpayer in Inwood with TL-46 being shown front and center with two other tower ladders partially visible.
The book is very nice. It was published in 2008. It's broken down into chapters like suburban, urban, rural, wildland, and industrial firefighting, and then a final chapter on rescue work, which also shows a picture of all five 2002 FDNY rescue rigs right after delivery. Lots of other FDNY and Chicago rigs are shown in the urban firefighting chapter.
