Theres been 2 All Hands + 2 2nd Alarms..
+ a Queens 10-75 which they only used 2 & 2 on.

Manhattan had a 2nd alarm 15 minutes before the Queens 2nd alarm.

Manhattan's 2nd was fire on the 5th floor of an OMD numerous numerous calls for people trapped on all floors.

Of course it's been quiet. No fireworks = no fires. Simple enough analogy. It hasn't been busy in at least 10 years.

Add 3 more All Hands to the previously mentioned above.

Brooklyn Queen Anne Fire
Manhattan Ductwork Fire in a Commercial Building
Manhattan OMD Fire w/ 1 civilian red tag

Make that 4..

Bronx All Hands for fire on the 2nd floor of a 7 story OMD

Yes my friends, those Fourth of July"s of the 1980s, and 90s were a repeat of the busy War Years. It would start about 9 PM. and then it was non-stop.
