Queens Box 5170 Unusual Incident

E315 reporting that a tractor-trailer attempting to make a turn at Parsons Blvd. & the Grand Central Parkway pulled down overhead utility wires as well as the pole. The pole is lodged between the tractor and the trailer at this time. Con Ed requested to respond ASAP to shut off the power. L125 and the 50 Bn. are responding.

The 50 now reports that there are approximately 2 blocks of wires down. Parsons Blvd. is completely shut down to traffic in the vicinity of the GCP service road. Surrounding properties are being checked. I believe, but not certain, that the remainder of the first alarm companies are responding.

I didn't catch which side, but it sounds like the whole general area is a mess. Find an alternate if possible.
