RAC Unitrs

Does anyone know how many RAC units there are.  I found 1 in Manhattan, 2 and 5 in Brooklyn and 4 on Roosevelt Island,  Is there a three?

How are thes units manned?  What do the carry?

There are 5 RAC units, 1 in each boro. They are manned by light duty personnel. The carry water, gatoraide and hot chocolate for fluid replenishment. They also have cold towels and fans to aide in cooling the body.

There's a RAC in the Bronx at Rescue 3's house.

i think starting in 1998 or just after that they became year round units, they were in service only from may to sept  and only responded on 2nd alarms if im correct. i recall rac 3 and i think rac 4 had those old gmc military ambo's.  ahh the memories still see those things responding in my head hanging outside my 4th floor window during those warm summer days oh well miss those times.
