Dispatched 1:17 a.m. for 2729 S. Wilmington Street, Budget Inn, for E10, E13, E3, E20, L1, L20, Sq7, B2, B3, ISO14. Plus E1, who added themselves Reported fire in back of building, spreading to second room. Upgraded to working fire due to multiple callers. Also call type apparently upgraded to high-life hazard, which added a second alarm's worth of units + working fire assignment: E12, E5, E8, E6, E26, L12, L6, L14, R16, A10, B5, B4, INV1, DC1.
Engine 13 first-arriving with working fire at a one-story motel with 16,095 square-feet. Built 1957, from tax records. Engine 1 with water supply, reverse laid to hydrant at street, at entrance to hotel.
Two inch-and-three-quarter lines into structure to start. Staging for fire on South Wilmington Street. Staging for EMS in parking lot north of hotel. District 5 with medical. Main fire room located in A/B corner. Fire contained within 20 minutes, marked under control at 1:48 a.m. EMS Truck 1 cancelled.
