Yesterday 7-23-09 brentwood station 116 was dispatched for a reported structure fire 340 pointview,rd.Pd arrived on scene and reported a working fire 116 Lt-2 requested a second alarm due to it being a day light fire and a shortage of man power.116 engine 1 arrived on scene with a well involved kitchen fire.116 ff 92 who lived next door to the fire held the fire back with a garden hose while 116 lt-2 and lt-3 streched a line.The fire was under control in about 15 miniuts food left on the stove while no one was home was the cause of the fire.
