Thanks Frank. Thats alot of work and a great chart. I didn"t realize that Eng 48 and 75 were in the top so often. But I sure do remember seeing them at a lot of jobs there. I only had a few of the older WNYFs Magazines or some older Fire Bell Club Newsletters to go by. Thats a Great reference chart you did. Thanks there guy.

For an 'Engine' only house, E42 certainly is up there fighting year in year out with the best of them!!!

Shame they never got their website fully up and running.

It's interesting to see all of the top 10's. I noticed starting in 1978 E48 jumped into the top 10. They stayed there consistantly until 1995, nearly 20 years! Most of those years they were top 3 or 4. What happened after 1995? They went from #2 to completely out of the top 10! Nothing left to burn? Population shift?

E75 showed up in the top 10 in 1977 and stayed there! E75 and E48 are not too far apart and I think they would run together quite often. How did E75 stay busy and E48 drop-off?

Thanks,
RM4

E48 had a lot of  1st and 2nd due pull boxes. When they eliminated those boxes the number of runs dropped off. E75 also has a much larger 1st alarm response area than E48. E48 also isn't getting hammered with EMS because of a small 1st due area.
