From FF Closecalls

SF media is reported that 1 Firefighter has died in the Line of Duty, 1 San Francisco Firefighter was also badly burned and a third suffered minor injuries battling a house fire just a little while ago in the city's Diamond Heights neighborhood. They were hurt at a fire in a four-story home at 133 Berkeley Way when there was a flashover..
The 3 members were taken to San Francisco General Hospital. The two found unconscious suffered "severe burns," with 1 reported in CPR-who has since died. The house appears to be two stories from the street, but has two additional stories built into the slope of a hill in the back. MORE to follow.

Thoughts and prayers for the familys of the firefighters and for the fellow firefighters.

"Valerio?s condition had not improved much as of Friday morning, his brother told reporters. It?s too soon to tell if he?ll pull through."

It is always very sad to hear of the loss of a Firefighter. My condolunces to his family and members of the SFFD.

And lets pray that FF Valerio will recover and that both families will find the strength to pull through this very tragic time.
