South Farmingdale NY (Nassau) Working Fire 9/5/23

In the early morning hours of Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, the South Farmingdale Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Motor Avenue off Heisser Lane. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation for a well involved shed fire that caused cosmetic damage to three homes and a second shed. The fire was quickly knocked down and its cause is under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of South Farmingdale Chief of Department Mike Mackie [9701].
