You know JK you bring up a very interesting point. Although as kids growing up, we were careful with the old electric space heaters to some degree...but I remember we could not sit on the edge of the couch because it was way too hot from the roaring fireplace not more than two feet away. Back then it was a no brainer, it was a no brainer to bring dry Christmas trees into the house...we were very lucky!
