Stratford, CT Shakespeare Theater Fire 1/13/19

That is a large wooden theater that I believe was built sometime in the early 1960s for Shakespeare plays. It closed after about 10 years of operation and has been vacant since.
As I understand it, "Doing it local" is run by a guy who began as a buff and just followed the action as a hobby. He covers the entire Bridgeport and surrounding area through his own pocket, donations, and maybe selling some commercial time on his web site ( www.doingitlocal.com ).
He's kind of a NYC - "THEMAJESTIRIUM1" of lower Fairfield County (CT), covering police, fire, and ems news, from Norwalk to Milford.
