Six fire companies fought a structure and brush fire at 441 Crescent Rd. in Buckingham County, Va. on Feb. 15, 2023 at 1300 hours. The double wide was fully involved and spread to surrounding brush. Companies in attendance were Farmville FD, Prospect FD, Toga FD, Dillwyn FD, Hampden Sydney FD and the Randolph District FD. There were no hydrants in the area and all water had to be trucked in.
