Today, February 24th '25 we learn of the passing of the singer Roberta Flack at 88 years old.
May she Rest in Peace.

Some of her hit songs included:
"The first time I ever saw your face" - 1969
"Tonight, I celebrate my love" - 1983
"Will you still love me tomorrow" - 1972

This was one of her most famous songs becoming a hit song in 1973

Two long time singers have announced they will be retiring and have canceled some of their upcoming live concerts.

Frankie Valli who is now 90 years old had his first big hit Sherry back in 1962 with a group called "The Four Seasons

"



Also Johnny Mathis who is now 89 years old wrote his first big hit back in 1957 with a song called "Chances Are".

Sad to inform you that Johnny Tillotson passed away at the age of 86. "Poetry In Motion", "Talk Back Trembling Lips" and many others made our radio and 45 days back then very enjoyable. Rest In Peace Johnny and thanks for the memories.
