I'm sure this is common knowledge to many but I'm at a disadvantage because of my location. Can anyone tell me how many trucks have tillers and what companies have them?

Just wondering what are the chances that L39 will remain a tiller and not get a rearmount when due for replacement now that they are on the other side of E 233 St. I would guess that 90% or more of their runs are on that side as opposed to going into Woodlawn. Any other ladder that goes into Woodlawn is not a tiller and L51 is a 95' tl and they go into Woodlawn.

Odds are L-39 will remain a tiller due to the narrow streets of woodlawn, also there are a few tight streets on the east side where they are now. The woodlawn community fought hard to keep them in old quarters and i think they would fight harder if the get a rearmount.

They did fight hard for years and were able to keep L-39 where they were for a long time, up until recently.

When I lived in Woodlawn in the 80's, there was a gentleman who was the Captain of L52 who lived in Woodlawn and was on the homeowners association and lead the fight to keep L39 in Woodlawn.

Incorrect.

That was HERBIE, (R.I.P.), not Harry.
