Incident Location: 695 Uniondale Ave Off Newton Ave
On the afternoon of Friday, January 3rd, 2025, the Uniondale Fire Department was called to a house fire on Uniondale Avenue off Newton Avenue. When the first units arrived on scene they were met with a fire on the second floor of a two-story private dwelling. A signal ten [working fire] was transmitted and mutual aid requested. Firefighters put two hand lines into operation and had the main body of fire quickly extinguished. All occupants made it safely out of the home and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Uniondale Chief of Department Martinez [7500] had command of the incident (Text Credit K2M).
