Incident Location: 560 Commercial Avenue
In the early morning hours of Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, the Uniondale Fire Department was called to a waterflow alarm on Commercial Avenue off Oak Street. When firefighters arrived on scene, they were met with smoke showing, water flowing, and an alarm sounding from a one story commercial building housing a computer rebuilding company. Upon further investigation firefighters located fire in the one, two corner and a signal ten [working fire] was transmitted. One hand line was put into operation to finish what the sprinklers started. There were no reported injuries, and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation. All fire department units were under the command of Uniondale Chief of Department Martinez [7500]. (Text Credit K2M)
