Incident Location: 30 North Corona Avenue
On the night of Sunday, November 5th, 2023, the Valley Stream Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on North Corona Avenue off West Maple Street. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation off Valley Stream Engine 341 for a fire on the number one side of a two-story private dwelling. The fire was quickly extinguished before it could extend further, and its cause is under investigation. There were no reported injuries and Valley Stream Chief of Department Patrick Scanlon [3400] had command of the incident. (Text Credit: K2M)
