Wantagh NY (Nassau) Working Fire 2/15/23

The Wantagh Fire Department operated on the scene of a signal ten [working fire] on Richard Lane off Libby Lane on the night of Wednesday, February 15th, 2023. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation for a kitchen fire in a two story split level style private dwelling. Levittown was designated the FAST and responded to the scene with Ladder 626. The fire was quickly knocked down before it could extend further, and its cause is under investigation. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and Wantagh Chief of Department Thomas Bloomfield [6900] had command of the incident. Text courtesy K2M Photography.
