On the night of Saturday, July 15th, 2023, the Wantagh Fire Dept. along with mutual aid cos. from Levittown and Bethpage operated on the scene of a working fire on Prairie Ln. Firefighters stretched two hand lines and put one hand line into operation for a fire on the second floor of a two-story Levitt style dwelling. The fire was quickly extinguished, and its cause is under investigation. All fire dept. units were under the command of Wantagh Chief of Dept. Bloomfield [6900]. Text courtesy K2M Photography.
