Update Box Alarm 5300 block Conn. Ave NW. #DCsBravest located fire in 4th floor apartment kitchen contained & largely extinguished by sprinkler system. Checking for extension. No injuries reported. Sprinklers save lives and property.
Update Box Alarm 5300 block Conn. Ave NW. #DCsBravest located & removed a cat to safety from the fire apartment. Cat is doing OK with 8 lives still to go. Smoke removal and clean-up operations completed with no injuries. Once again, sprinklers proved their worth.
