Incident Location: 1112 Iris Place
Late on the afternoon of Tuesday, June 18th, 2024, the Westbury Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on Iris Place on the corner of Old Country Road. Firefighters stretched and operated multiple hand lines for heavy fire in a one-story private dwelling. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Westbury Chief of Department Carr [9601] had command of the incident. (Text Credit K2M)
