In the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 19th, 2023, the Westbury Fire Department along with mutual aid companies operated on the scene of a working fire on Wellington Road off Berkshire Drive. Firefighters stretched and operated three hand lines for heavy fire on the number three side of a two-story split level private dwelling. All occupants made it safely out of the residence and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
