@0315: Fairfield FD responding to report of a structure fire at 323 Warner Hill Road, off Bronson Road in the Southport Section of town. First arriving units found heavy fire from the windows and roof on all four sides of the building. Ultimately FFD responded with all five engines, ladder, and rescue. It was reported that the homeowner got his wife and daughter out of the house and then re-entered to fight the fire. Part of the front roof collapsed within 15 minutes of the FD's arrival. The house was a total loss with the loss estimated at $1.5 million. Coverage was provided by Easton, Westport, and Stratford.
