SUBJECT: A view of fire apparatus and fires in two areas of the center of the USA.
This coming Tuesday evening, 6th Oct. 2026, at 1930 hrs, NYC time, the monthly Zoom meeting will take place. The gathering will be using the regular Zoom site. So please join us as Jeff Rudolph will tell us about his fire service career which started in 1981 as a volunteer in his hometown of Knollwood, Il. Five years later, 1986, Jeff was hired as a career firefighter/paramedic for Skokie, Il. Where he served for 31 years.
Jeff also enriched his career by serving as an on-call FF/PM for the Newport Township Fire District in northern Illinois. During his fire service career he became interested in fire ground photography. His images have appeared in Firehouse and Fire Engineering magazines.
He has been retired for the past nine years and has spent the last 5 years residing in North Port, Fl. Located in Sarasota County, on the Gulf Coast. He continues to travel coast to coast armed with a camera, keeping up with his interest in the fire service.
There will also be a photo presentation from the recent IFBA convention that was held in Nashville.
