Nice rundown on building construction by "Olddog" on other site.

The Fire Building was not Class 1 CIDS was incorrect, Ceiling was Prisoner Proofed 1/2" ply covered with FRP (Fiberglas Reinforced paneling) glued and screwed to the Bottom of Lightweight Wooden Trusses. The Roof was Membrane over 8 inches of Foam and Plywood. well Insulated and hid the location of the fire. The Roof collapsed early in the fire due to the use of Trusses heads up move by the Chiefs pulling us out when they did because the roof collapsed shortly after we were withdrawn. Risk-Reward nobody in the building, its Rikers Island, High Risk-No Reward. JMHO
