Box 3709 transmitted for fire at 921 McDonald Avenue, near 18th Avenue, for person on fire.

Could be: E 250, 282, 281  L 148, 147  B 48

E 250 requests rush on EMS for person on fire in the street.

@1344: E 250 requests PD also.

@1346: B 48 transmits 10-75-3709 for fire at 910 Mc Donald Avenue for smoke from a commercial building.  SQ 1, R 2, D 8, B 41, E 247, L 157 FT

@1349: B 48 using all hands for fire on the first floor of a commercial, one LSO, fire is doubtful.  3 story brick  20 x 50 with commercial on first floor and apts above.

CIDS: retail store with printing and developing chemicals throughout the first floor.

@1350: B 48: s/c additional engine and truck: L 172 and E 240 s/c.

Relocations: L 101/148, E 220/250, E 310/240, E283/282.

@1354: B 48: report of small explosions within the building, notify PD and Marshals.

@1357: B 48: one 10-45 code 2 in care of EMS, being removed to the Burn Center.

@1402: B 48: fire knocked down, primary on all three floors negative, fire is still doubtful.

@1412: B 48: request ETA of Marshals.

@1415: B 48: s/c HazMat 1 due to chemicals involved in this fire.  HazMat 1, HazMat Batt and SQ 252 assigned as HazTec Unit responding.

@1419: D 8: secondary search on all floors is negative, fire is will hold, have one 55 gallon drum on unknown chemical in basement.

"Foster Avenue" Engine 250 & "It Ain't Easy" Ladder 148 First Due - and this box is quite a run for the truck, covering 6 avenues from 12th to 18th.
