quick question  why a second rescue and why send engine 210 w/ sat 6 instead of having a manhattan unit thats on the 2nd alarm grab sat 1

A lot of other boxes out Soho, 207 now replaced 210 with the satellite, no idea why they have rescue 2 on the 2nd.

Probably just an oversight, but as for the "2nd" rescue . . . I don't see R1 listed at all. If they weren't there, that's the reason for R2 on the 2nd.  And, as others have said, there were other boxes out.  Perhaps R1 was on one of those.

I only picked up the radio when the 10-76 was transmitted, so I do not know what rescue or squad was assigned or indeed what the initial alarm was.

Rescue 1 just gone 10-8 from another box and told to remain 10-8 by Dispatch

If Rescue1 was out on another box then Rescue2 would have been first due Rescue and the second alarm Rescue would be Rescue4. Dont know for sure but a 10-76 gets a Rescue Company not matter what.

Just got this from ExChief

These protesting assholes are lucky nobody was seriously injured, (firefighters at the fire, or kids walking around busy rush hour streets)

The Mayor and NYPD need to end this bullshit occupation.  These loosers need to go back home.

OK this box came in at 1730. I want to be home by 1700 (OK guys 5 PM). Why are you dragging your kids around? I agree the banks are assoles and need to be help accountable. But every protester who says they lost their jobb has a FUCKING CELL PHONE. My company pays for my cell phone but I am low-keyed on its use. Ask my son!
