This alarm came in just as companies were clearing from AH Box 1012.
There were initially 5 Engines and 4 Trucks before the transmission of the 10-75.

2218 - Box Transmitted.

2221 - L-81 - Transmit the 10-75, Large area of brush with exposures.  We are at South Beach and Olympia.

2223 - Bn. 21 - All Hands on Arrival

2225 - Bn. 21 2nd Alarm

2246 - Div. 8 - 3rd Alarm

I'm surprised that for brushfires FDNY doesn't dispatch an air recon much earlier into the incident.  Having an overall view of the scene from the air is certainly extremely beneficial when fighting brushfires.
