"Rowan County working. Four alarms were struck in Salisbury tonight, Three-story apartment building at 1100 Grandeur Drive, off Julian Road near I-85. The Grand on Julian apartment complex.
From radio traffic, dispatched ~7:02 p.m. for Sta 74 B1 DC11 E4 E432 E541 E572 E6 E624 L1 TA414 TA514 TA636 TA765.
Believe that translates to South Salisbury, Salisbury, China Grove, Faith, Granite Quarry, Locke, Bostian Heights, Rockwell Rural, and Union fire departments, per carolinasfirepage.com/members/nc_ctys.html
Callers advising fire showing from the roof of the 2000 building.
Unit 5400 first-arriving with confirmed working fire, heavy smoke and fire showing from the third-floor.

Working fire dispatch at ~7:07 p.m. with Sta 74 R47 702 TA345 TA554 TA485 DC64 FSDIV E572 Sta 91.
Callers now reporting people trapped.
[ Arriving units found occupants jumping from the third floor. Requested additional medical resources. Established a casualty collection point. ]
[ First arriving engines were "57" and 743. Engine 6 was third. ]
Third alarm at ~7:11 p.m. with E751 TA405 TA464 TA796 TA775 TA594 DC75.
Battalion 1 has established command. Authority 630, all third alarm companies stage at 91.
[ Tactical withdrawal from third floor ordered ~7:27 p.m. "Code red the third floor, we've lost a significant portion of the roof." Setting up a second aerial. Searches continuing on first and second floors. ]
Fourth alarm at ~7:53 p.m. E452 E443 TA494 Rimer TA1 DC44
[ All single-man tankers released at 8:11 p.m. Fire contained by 8:14 p.m., with both aerial streams shutting down. ]
